I've only played the demo to the 2nd one, but in all honesty it seemed pretty cool.

OMG, you guys HAVE to buy ME 1 and ME 2, play the shit out of 'em, then pre-order ME 3, play the shit out of that! If you don't, you're officially a square. I'm sorry to be the one to break it to yah. XD Also: YOU AT LEAST NEED THREE PLAYTHROUGHS PER GAME OR ELSE YOU WON'T GET THE FULL EXPERIENCE OF MASS EFFECT. To not play it three times is to dishonor the game and yourself, thus bringing great shame to us all. XD

Alright, so you play as Commander Shepdard, and basically ME 1 starts with your introduction. Then you go to this one planet to investigate some disappearances, I think. You find the Geth and Saren, and then you fight them till you find a damaged Prothean beacon. You touch it, and you get these strange visions that turn out to be Reapers. Basically, you have to find and stop Saren, a rogue Spectre, from indoctrinating everyone and turning them in to the husks for Sovereign, a Reaper, and yeah. You have to kill Sovereign and Saren.

ME 2 starts off with you patrolling space, when the Collectors ****ng blast your ship into oblivion and you die. Then, the Illusive man with his project Lazarus brings you back to life. Miranda Lawson is the head of the project. Anywho, he tells you about the Collectors and that they've been abducting people, so he wants you to investigate a planet. But he's Cerberus and you're Alliance, so things get heated. But yeah, you get to the planet, and you find some quarian who saw the whole abduction, but he's crazy as f***. Anyway, after that, you see what kind of threat your facing, so you have to gather an elite team to go on basically a suicide mission into the Omega 4 relay to the collector base.

ME 3 is supposed to be about the Reapers invading Earth, and you basically have to form an elite army to regain the planet. But how does one stop the unstoppable? So yeah, that's the basic premises of the game.

*Lol, and this is all from memory. XD

They do for ME 2. Not sure about ME 1, though. ME 3 ain't coming out till the end of this year, so you'll just have to wait.

Well, I got the GameInformer issue where Mass Effect 3 is the main story. I've only glanced at it so far, I'll go back and read it through tomorrow.

But, I've gotten a plan. Very Happy

This all depends on if I get a job, which I'm trying to do, but I want to buy and play ME1, then later, buy and play ME2 and hopefully have enough money to buy ME3 when it releases. Now, if I follow this, or even start is really hard to say, but I hope I go through with it. Very Happy

Jeez bro, I just don't have all the money in the world. I'm getting limited on options here, as games keep growing and evolving, they keep getting more expensive. When it gets down to it, I'm going to have to say "NTY" to some high profile games and just go with what I feel, although I'm not really sure what I'll choose. When I get the money, and the games release, I guess I'll find out.

Lol, the whole series is basically xbox and pc exclusive. Only recently was ME2 released for PS3, after like a year of being out.

*But believe me, I'm so sure you'll love this game, that it'll make you want to buy an Xbox just to play it. XD
